About

Stephen Hoskins studied at Southampton College of Art, West Surrey College of Art and gained his MA at the  Royal College of Art. He is currently Professor of Fine Print at the Centre for Fine Print Research, UWE Bristol. Stephen is an award winning Printmaker and Researcher and has held several residencies and been awarded many research grants.

Print is at the heart of Stephen’s practice along with a love of craft skills and pushing the boundaries of the medium, both in two and three dimensions. He is known for investigating new technology alongside historic process. His current work combines, digital technology laser cutting, screen printing and aero-engineering.

He has work in public collections including the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Tate Gallery and Private collections such as Microsoft and Lloyds TSB.
