I love making miniature prints, I really enjoy the constraint of trying to create an idea in small space. You have to be lean and sparse and not try to do too much. It is very energising.
I have been making miniature prints for over 30 years. It all started with an exhibition I organised at UWE Bristol, for the staff and students to make a print in an edition of 60, half of which would be for sale and half would make 30 sets to give to each participant. The annual exhibition is still going strong and I am still making Miniature Prints
All of the prints are on paper that is 20 centimetres wide by 25 centimetres high. The paper is usually Somerset, but can be Arches or Hanamuhle. They are nearly all in editions of 60 and all are for sale. They vary in price from £95 to £150 depending on availability. Just contact me by email: stephen@stephenhoskins.com
