Screen printed at the Frans Masreel Centrum in Belgium as part of a month long residency. The background are printed upon Saunders HP 400gsm paper in a total of 14 colours. The wing sections are screen printed onto balsa wood in 8 colours. The wings are a diptych and are framed to hang next to each other with a gap in the middle
Each section is 76 centimetres wide and 53 centimetres high. Edition of 3
French Peacocks
Screen printed onto 410 gsm Saunders hot press paper in 8 colours. The applied section is printed onto hand made tissue paper from Nepal and is held in place with a carbon fibre rod. This section is cut and applied by hand. The print combines the golden section geometry of my earlier prints with the 18th century wallpaper designs on the wings prints, along with high-technology carbon fibre rod.

Homage to Buckminster Fuller
The background is screen printed on Saunders 410 gsm hot press paper in 5 colours, the addition is screen printed onto Hodamura Japanese paper in 5 colours and the construction using carbon fibre rod and braided wire is based upon Buckminster Fuller’s theories of Tensegrity.
